Returns Policy - At hopnøsis, quality and safety are central to everything we do. As our products are sealed, consumable beverages, returns are handled carefully and in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
This Returns Policy applies to all purchases made directly through the hopnøsis website.
Change-of-mind returns
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept change-of-mind returns.
This includes situations where:
- You ordered more than required
- You no longer wish to consume the product
- The product has been delivered correctly and as described
This is permitted under the CPA for perishable and hygiene-sensitive goods.
When returns are accepted
We will accept returns only where the product:
- is damaged during delivery
- is defective or unsafe
- is incorrect or does not match the order placed
Any such issue must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
Conditions for return eligibility
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be unopened and unused
- The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- We only accept returns and refunds for products purchased directly from our website. Proof of purchase must be provided. Purchases made through third-party retailers or stockists are subject to their own return policies
- Clear photographic evidence may be required
We reserve the right to decline a return if these conditions are not met.
How to report a return issue
To report a return request, please contact us in writing within 48 hours of delivery and include your order number and details of the issue.

Once reviewed, we will advise on the next steps.
Return shipping
Where a return is approved:
- We will advise whether the product should be returned or disposed of
- Return shipping instructions will be provided where applicable
hopnøsis is not responsible for items returned without prior approval.
